Spirit of Tasmania

Spirit of Tasmania ship

Do you prefer a sea voyage? Reckon you can face the might of the Roaring Forties?

Take the 9-11 hour journey on board a Spirit of Tasmania ship. Vessels depart from Melbourne (on mainland Australia) and arrive at Devonport (on the northern coast of Tasmania).

One-way fares start from around AUD 120 depending on which part of the year you are traveling.

Do you have an adventurous spirit? A 9-11 hour sea journey may seem daunting. However I found the trip to be just brilliant and recommend it highly, if you can spare the time.

Before you go running off to plan your big adventure on the high seas, make sure to check out my Spirit of Tasmania tips. You may find these helpful to know in advance of your journey.
